His Excellency John Kerry

US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived Dhaka on 29 August, 2016 for the first time – a tour that is deemed as “significantly important” by diplomatic quarters of the world. He had underscored the need for “more frequent” communication with Bangladesh for fighting terrorism and militancy in arms. He urged that no nation could succeed without sharing information, technological innovation and constant communication.He departed for India after Dhaka tour on the same day.


His Excellency Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah

Kuwait Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak arrived Dhaka on May 03, 2016 for three days visit. Her Excellency Tshering Pem Wangchuck

During her stay, she had a courtesy call on with the Honorable Prime Minister of peoples Republic of Bangladesh and visited the Bangabandhu Memorial Museum and the National Museum. His Excellency Narendra Damodardas Modi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives Dhaka on a two-days state visit on June 6 after paving the way for implementation of the Land Boundary Agreement. Bangladesh government expects the visit will strengthen the bilateral relations. The visit is expected to further expand the cordial and cooperative relationship between the two countries and strengthen the ties of friendship and trust between India and Bangladesh," India's Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement.


His ExcellencyJigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck

Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck accompanied by the queen arrived in Dhaka on a six-day goodwill visit to Bangladesh. This is the second visit of the King Wangchuck to Bangladesh in less than two years.

During his visit Special Security Force was solely responsible to coordinate, organize and ensure physical security.

His Excellency Ban Ki-moon

UN Secretary-General Mr. Ban Ki-moon visited Bangladesh on 13 November for a three day visit as part of three-country tour to South-East Asia. A key objective of his visit was to showcase the progress and leadership of these countries in advancing women’s and children’s health in the context of the “Every Woman Every Child” effort he initiated in 2010.

Her Excellency Sonia Gandhi

Congress president Ms Sonia Gandhi visited Dhaka on 25 Jul 2011, Monday to receive an award from Bangladesh government on behalf of Indira Gandhi for her contributions to the 1971 liberation war. During the visit of this dignitaries Special Security Force was solely responsible to coordinate, organize and ensuring security.

During her visit, Ms. Gandhi will also participated in celebrations to mark 40 years of creation of Bangladesh. 

His Excellency Manmohan Singh

The Indian Prime Minister Mr Manmohan Singh visits Bangladesh on 06 September 2011. The visit was inked with historic agreements to settle their vexed land boundary issues, including exchange of 162 enclaves.

During the visit Special Security Force was solely responsible to coordinate, organize and ensuring the security of the Prime Minister of India. 

His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa & Madam Shiranthi Rajapaksa

His Excellency Mahinda Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka paid an official visit to Dhaka along with her wife Sri Lanka’s First Lady Madam Shiranthi Rajapaksa, Bangladesh from 18-20 April 2011 on an invitation extended by Her Excellency Sheikh Hasina, Hon’ble Prime Minister of Bangladesh.

Her Excellency Hillary Rodham Clinton

Secretary of the United States of America Ms Hillary Rodham Clinton traveled Bangladesh from May 5-6, 2012 on her second trip to the country. During her visit, Secretary Clinton met the senior Government of Bangladesh officials and civil society representatives to review robust U.S.-Bangladesh cooperation across the full range of political, economic and security matters. During her visit to the country she also engaged with the youth of Bangladesh.

Mr Pranab Mukharjee & the First Lady Ms Suvra Mukherjee

India's first Bengali President Pranab Mukherjee along with the first lady arrived in Dhaka on 03 March 2013. The visit was quite significant one beyond state level affairs. Mr President paid a visit to Narail the residence of the first lady Ms Suvra Mukharjee.

During their stay Special Security Force was solely responsible for their safety and security in Bangladesh. 

Mr Mikhail Myasnikovich

Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich visited Dhaka on a three-day official visit on Sunday, 12 Nov 2012. This was the first top level visit by any Belarusian dignitary after 1991 upon establishment of diplomatic relations.

During the stay in Dhaka Special Security Force was solely responsible for his physical safety and security.
